Day 4

On our last day the fog came rolling in...it felt more like real San Francisco.

Ron and I bundled up for one last chance to breathe in the ocean air! Yes, this is the same beach that we hung out on just two days before. Typical unpredictable bay area weather.

Mommy and her ducklings

Ron and I went to the lake today and spotted this mommy duck and her little ones enjoying mother's day. They looked as though they were just hatched....mother nature is truly amazing!

26 years and counting......

Then........

.....and now!

Ron and I have been married 26 years today! Man...I can't believe how fast the years have gone. The "then" picture was the very first picture taken of us in 1982. We were married about 8 months after. What fun we've had!

49ers and Giants Rock!

Early Mother's Day fun

The girls took me out to an early mother's day dinner. I miss having my time with just the girls...it was such a treat to be able to be with my beauties! We went to a Mexican place in Chico and indulged ourselves with good food and margaritas...it doesn't get any better than this!

After dinner, we went to Shubert's Ice Cream parlor....and had some yummy treats......

I feel lucky every day to have such wonderful girls. They make it a true joy to be a mother!

Testing....Testing.....

These are my classes this year. I have had a great year with these kids. They are a lot of fun and such hard workers! We are having our annual state testing starting this next week..... what fun! (she says sarcastically). We have been working diligently to get prepared for the testing taking marathon.

If you notice, in some of the pictures, there are some kids that look like I torture them everyday! (I guess it's just not cool to look like you like school). Middle schoolers are an interesting breed (but then again so are middle school teachers)....you never know what you're going to get! That's what makes my job so much fun....never a dull moment.
